The Oase Pondovac Start fills its chamber with muck from the bottom of the pond then automatically turns itself off when the collection chamber is full so it can discharge the waste into your garden. It then switches itself on automatically and continues sucking. This makes cleaning the muck from small ponds a fast, easy process (if you have a large pond you would be better off with the Pondovac 3). The Oase Pondovac Start comes with different vaccuum heads for different applications, 4 metres of suction hose and 2m of discharge hose.
