Pond liner underlay is used to create a smooth surface between a liner and earth base. Liner underlay is better than sand as it its easier to work with and provides protection to the side walls of a pond where sand will not. Pond liner underlay also helps prevent tree roots penetrating liner. A great product because it gives you piece of mind.
