Scott’s work life started as an aircraft maintenance engineer for Ansett Australia which gave him the travel bug that led to four years backpacking the world. During this time he discovered his passion for aquatic environments and spent time in the northwest of Australia working on a pearl farm. Realising a need to re skill, Scott returned to study completing undergraduate and honours degrees in Aquaculture from Curtin University in Perth and continued on to do a MBA from Swinburne University in Melbourne. Scott spent over ten years travelling throughout Australia and New Zealand as National Sales Manager for a water garden distribution company before finding his calling helping people manage their lakes, dams and big ponds. Scott’s unique blend of aquaculture, business and life experiences are the driving force behind Clearwater Lakes and Ponds position of Australia’s leading full service lake management company.
Bryan finished High School in Canada and wanted to do a business diploma. The only problem was he didn’t have a business in mind and wasn’t very good at finance and statistics. One day while doing some economics research on food supply, he came across the topics of aquaculture and became fascinated with it. Bryan has always liked water, whether that’s drinking a cold glass of water on a hot summer day or going for a swim. He also really likes fishing and being outdoors so when the opportunity to study a degree in Aquaculture and Environmental Management at NMIT came up, he instantly applied. During that time he did some work with a Barramundi hatchery at Mainstream Aquaculture in Werribee which was a great learning experience. When the degree was completed, he decided that he wanted to stay within the industry but wanted to experience different aspects apart from the production side of things. That brings us to now, where he works with Clearwater Lakes and Ponds to bring you top quality products and pond management services.
