Matala Rocking Piston Compressor
Matala Rocking Piston air compressors are used for aerating deep ponds, dams or lakes. They use an oil-less non-lube piston cylinder and therefore require very little maintenance. Features include permanently lubricated bearings, light weight die-cast components, hard coated cylinder for wear resistance and a front cover grid structure for protection from moving parts. Matala
rocking piston compressors are balanced for smooth, low vibration operation. The MPC-60C includes a 1/4 HP compressor, air filter, 2 way heavy duty manifold and oil filled pressure gauge to reduce indicator vibration. This gives a more accurate reading of the actual psi of your system. There is also a pressure relief valve attached to the manifold which opens if necessary preventing damage to the compressor. The gang valves are high quality brass with 3/8″ barb connectors. A short section of heat resistant hose is included so as to reduce heat to your air hose connection. Matala rocking piston compressors should be installed in a cool, well ventilated location. In warm locations it is recommended to use the Matala cabinet assembly that houses the rocking piston compressor and accessories in a weather proof cabinet complete with cooling fan.
